Meet Our Providers

Ashley Brown, PA-C, MCHS

Born and raised in Ketchum, Ashley cares deeply about this community and the people in it. She grew up ski racing on the Sun Valley Ski Team, playing soccer, riding horses, trail running and enjoying the gorgeous public lands that Idaho offers. Ashley’s passion for the mountains and the lifestyle that comes along with them makes her appreciate and understand the importance of whole-body health. She is trained in allopathic medicine, though she has always believed in the importance of integrative and holistic health. Through approaching each patient as an individual; looking at the bigger picture; and incorporating other healthcare professionals, such as acupuncturists and naturopaths into your care, Ashley’s goal is to help her patients live their best lives.

Ashley and James have 2 children, Penelope and Maybelle and dog, Chunk.

“Owning this practice allows me to bring a new level of healthcare to Ketchum and the Wood River Valley. I believe in evidence-based, thoughtful medicine and will continue to learn and bring you the best and most current medical care.

I look forward to working with individuals, families, locals and visitors to help you achieve your optimal health so you can enjoy this beautiful area and your loved ones.”

- Ashley Brown, PA-C, MCHS

  • After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, Ashley returned to Ketchum to work as and EMT on the Sun Valley Ski Patrol, volunteered for the Ketchum Fire Department and worked in the Emergency Department at St. Luke’s. She eventually joined the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest PA program. During her time there, Ashley focused on underserved populations and rural family medicine. After graduating, she worked in a Community Health Center in Edmonds, Washington for two years. Then, she worked a season at the Grand Teton Medical Clinic caring for park visitors and park employees.

In 2015, Ashley and her husband, James Tautkus, moved back to the Valley to start their lives together and a family. She commuted to Twin Falls for five years working for St. Luke’s in a very busy walk-in clinic, and worked closely with the family medicine and pediatric group enabling her to grow tremendously as a provider.

Ketchum Family Medicine was established in September, 2020. Our goal is to provide individualized medicine to our patients. Ashley has been focusing on courses to expand her functional medicine and hormone replacement therapy knowledge and will work with patients to create a better balanced and healthier lifestyle.

Ashley and James have 2 children, Penelope and Maybelle and dog, Chunk.

Dr. Bruce Evan Gollub

Dr. Gollub grew up the youngest of four children in St Louis. His grandfather ran a small family owned department store, and as a young boy, he was impressed with his grandfather’s ability to connect with his customers and quality service. This humble beginning fostered his drive to nurture personal connections in his personal and professional lives as a key to well being through his entire life.

Dr. Gollub joins us at Ketchum Family Medicine after running his own private practice for 29 years, Santa Fe Family & Functional Medicine This practice provided full spectrum family medicine including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, office surgery, adult medicine, and functional medicine.

Dr. Gollub now resides in Hailey, Idaho and is a passionate provider and would like to continue to treat patients and be a part of his new community.

Dr. Gollub has three grown children and three grand kids.

  • Drawn to the magnificent Rocky Mountains, Dr. Gollub received his B.A. in Molecular Biology Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado in 1975. He returned to Missouri to attend the University of  Missouri Columbia School of Medicine, completing his degree in 1979.

As a fourth year medical student, Dr. Gollub had the privilege of working in a small clinic/hospital on the Hoopa Indian reservation in northern California with 2 family physicians. This experience cemented his calling to practice family medicine where he could develop a broad range of medical skills including obstetrics.

Dr. Gollub moved to Albuquerque to complete his residency program in Family Medicine at the University of New Mexico. During this time he also worked in rural emergency rooms gaining valuable experience that broadened his skill base.  He became board certified in Family Medicine in 1983.  He worked for two years in the Presbyterian and Anna Kaseman Emergency rooms subsequent to completion of his residency.

Although these years in the emergency room were very rewarding and stimulating, the lack of continuity of care with these patients in this setting reminded Dr. Gollub of his desire to have long term relationships with his patients.  In 1984, he opened a private practice (Gila Family Care) in Silver City, NM.  When his family relocated to Santa Fe, NM, he worked for Lovelace Health Systems for five years before opening his private practice.
